Monday:  Reading - PB p. 1 finish #6-10
               Spelling Connections - study the 20 words in unit 1
               Social Studies - p. H 18 name the New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies

Tuesday:  Vocabulary Workshop - p. 14 finish #3-12 and study the 12 definitions for unit 1
                ELA - sentences and fragments p. 3 B #13-15
                SS - p. 10 list all latitudes and longitudes shown

Wednesday:  (If no library ) - Reading - PB p. 2 #1-15
                ELA - declarative/interrogative sentences p. 5 B #11-15
                SS - read p. 13 on ecosystems

Thursday:  Reading - Comprehension p. 36 #4-5
                 Spelling - study unit 1 words for tomorrow's test
                 SS - p. 19 Reading Check

Friday:  Vocabulary - study unit 1 definitions for a test on Monday
             Spelling - test today on unit 1
             ELA - p. 12 #1-10
             SS - name the regions you have lived or visited

Grade 4:
Monday:  Reading - PB p. 1 #3-5
               Spelling Connections- study the 20 spelling words in unit 1
               SS - Which feature do you live near?  Which feature would you like to visit?

Tuesday:  (If no library) Reading - PB p. 2 #1-10
                ELA - p. 3 B #12-15
                SS - Which continent do you live on?  Which ocean is nearest to you?

Wednesday:  Vocabulary Workshop - p. 14 finish #3-12 and study the 12 definitions in unit 1
              ELA - declarative/interrogative sentences p. 5 A # 6-10
              SS - using p. G11 write the abbreviations for:  Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, Hawaii, and Iowa

Thursday:  Reading - PB p. 3 #1-4
                Spelling - study unit 1 spelling words for a test tomorrow
                SS - using historical map on p. G 13 list the names of the New England Colonies, Middle Colonies, and Southern Colonies

Friday:  Vocabulary - study the 12 definitions in unit 1 for a test on Monday
             Spelling - test today on unit 1 words
             ELA - study sentence/fragment, and declarative/interrogative sentences
             SS - choosing between a political map and a physical map, which do you like better?  Why?
