5th grade Easter Vacation Homework

Reading/Writing: • Children will be given two reading packets (“Hyperbole Cafe” and “Tropical Rainforest”). They are to read the stories and answer the questions. Please be sure to answer short answer questions in complete sentences. If it is needed, answers may be written on loose leaf and stapled to the packet. Social Studies: • Students will be exploring an assigned state and finding information about that state. Students will answers the attached questions about their particular state. The information collected will be used to create a state brochure. All homework is due Monday, April 28th, 2014 If your child is missing any of the supplies please send them in when we return from the vacation. Students were asked to bring in:  3 folders  Pack of white copy paper  Pack of loose leaf  Pack of construction paper
